I read an article that one of the characteristics of a good hotel should have some following qualities to become a good accommodation place for tourist, traveler and guest regardless if it is a 1 star hotel or a 5 star hotel. I would like to share with you what makes Penthouse Hotel and Residence makes it to become a good accommodation place for us to stay and enjoy during this time of pandemic.

LOCATION: 

The hotel is located in Angeles City Pampanga. If you feel you want to go shopping, SM Clarke Pampanga is just 5-10 minute Ride. Restaurants, Bars, ATM machine, Massage parlor are available very near the vicinity of the hotel. There is also police station near the area when it comes to security. The only challenge is the availability of parking area, very limited. You can ask the receptionist for assistance for the parking, most of the time, security personnel will assist you.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:

Keeping the maintenance running smoothly increases customer satisfaction and most importantly it saves staff time. The concern here  is the elevator. You can hear the noisy bearings and  can only accommodate 3 person at a time. In addition, given to the current situation of COVID-19, Hotel businesses were affected so it may take some time to get the parts to have it run smoothly. There are 2 elevators that are working fine. Hand Sanitizers are available as well within the vicinity of the hotel. make use of them

FAST SERVICE

Fast Service is very important but it would also rely on the preventative maintenance of the hotel. due to the Covid-19 situation, the hotel only has skeletal workforce. I have witnessed staff taking 3 roles at the same time; handling the cashier area, bartending, doing room service and they were still able to provide great experience. If you are going to visit Penthouse hotel and Residence, please do keep in mind that they only have skeletal workforce but I assure you, the service they provide is outstanding from the time you check-in and Checked out.

HOTEL ROOM AND SERVICE

The Hotel Rooms are elegant, definitely I would highly recommend for you to stay. As a Solo Traveler, a comfortable bed is the single most important feature in a hotel room and it didn't disappoint me at all. It also includes basic complimentary toiletries however please take note that there are separate toiletries that are not complementary. The room has a mini bar. the Receptionist will inform you that if you use it, it will be deducted against your 1000.00 deposit. If not, you can get the full amount back once you checked out. In regards to concerns about the Hot water, it will take 10 minutes for it to work, you will see a small disclaimer at the right bottom of the mirror.

If you want to have a relaxing stay in your hotel room, the hotel provides an in-house professional Masseuse for 595.00 (Full Body Massage)rest  assured that they wear full PPE with face mask for the safety of the guest as well.

The hotel rooms are also perfect for couples who wants to enjoy a  romantic evening. 

FOOD:

UPPER DECK POOL AREA.

If you want to unwind and have a relaxing night, you can visit the hotel with just a fee of 500.00 per person (consumable). Due to Covid-19, the upper deck is only open up until 10pm. Wearing face mask and face shield is mandatory for safety. Don't forget to Practice Social Distancing. You can also enjoy the pool and jacuzzi in the upper deck, there are 4 summer loungers that you can use, 4 lounge area that can easily accommodate 4 to 6 people due to social distancing and 4 additional round tables good for 4. There are some activities like.beer pong and DJ for guest who would like to enjoy however due to the current situation of the pandemic, these activities are currently not available. Rest rooms are also available in the upper deck for your convenience.

You will feel that theyre doing this out of generosity rather than doing it as part of their job. talking one of the staff like Ms. Rhoda Mutuc and Ms. Rio Cangco, Ms Maricar, Sir Mark and Ms.Mitch dela Cruz will definitely lighten up your day.
